Looking for a simple and great way to get winter exercise? Borrow a pair of snowshoes!
Available to borrow during the winter months, from November to May. Reserve one of two pairs for your next trip on your preferred dates by emailing Brian Laverty at brian.laverty@wsplibrary.ca, or drop by the Library and borrow up to four (4) pairs in person.
Whitchurch-Stouffville has an extensive trail system that is great for beginners and experts alike!
Frequently Asked Questions about Snowshoes
You will need your library card and to complete and sign our snowshoe lending agreement.
Copies of the snowshoe lending agreement will be available at the service desk or you can print one from the link below and fill it out at home before coming to pick up your snowshoes.
Please note that limited quantities of snowshoes are available.
Each pair of snowshoes can be checked out for 7 days.
You can reserve Snowshoes through our KitKeeper equipment booking software for a future date.
Patrons will be charged overdue fines of $2.00/day for snowshoes.
You can borrow four (4) pairs of snowshoes per Library Card.
Snowshoes can be borrowed and returned within the Library during our Hours of Operation
