Volunteer this fall!
September 1, 2016
Teens at the last TAG meeting thought we’d get some great volunteers to do a program for younger kids during science literacy week in September. Shifts would be Sept 22 4-6:30 and 6-8:30. We’d be helping younger kits with simple electricity projects (squishy circuits and makey makey) and lego robotics for ages 7-12. We’ll get you set up on all of it and be on hand to help, obviously, so it would mostly be about trouble-shooting, experimenting, and having fun with the young kids.
Later on we may be looking at offering volunteer hours for writing or recording book, movie, and game reviews that the Library can share on our website and social media, but no firm plans yet.
Please let me know if you’re interested in any of these opportunities and then I’ll keep you posted with updates.
