A message from Alex, the Library’s Summer Reading Club Coordinator:

I am so proud of all our great readers this summer. Every day I get the privilege of listening all about the amazing adventures you are going on through your reading, and how excited you are about these books. On various occasions, I and my volunteers have had kids describe their whole book to us, including plot line, and characters, right down to the setting of each scene. One of my favourite quotes a young reader told me during reporting was that, “I love reading because it is like a movie for my brain.”

Your enthusiasm towards reading is what keeps this program going and on behalf of myself and the volunteers, we want to say thank you and how proud we are of your progress

Thank you for continuing to make this program a success and remember to keep reading!
